today was pretty awesome. jason and i got up at 10. it was sooo nice to get to sleep in. so we get up, get ready, and head over to christina's house. we catch the bus into harvard square to see harry and the potters at oktoberfest. they were so fun and good and i loved them live. i bought their cd that i don't have and christina bought a fantastic tshirt of theirs. we took lots of pictures, too, and videos of them because they're so fun and silly. they're basically this band made up of three like, 20 yr old guys who dress up like harry potter and sing songs about harry potter and things in the books. they're so fun and silly, and when they talk in between songs, they're all like, "my friend ron..." and stuff like that, like they're really harry. i love it. true story.
then we left oktoberfest to go to the knit-out in boston, at boston common. it was okay, pretty anticlimactic. i don't know what i was expecting, but it def wasn't that. so we left shortly after getting there to go back to oktoberfest and listen to some more music, eat some free ice cream (!!), and look at beautiful things for sale. i didn't end up buying anything besides the harry and the potters cd, and that's okay, because it's not like i have money or anything. i also ate delish indian food that burnt my lips off. me christina and jason met up with lauren (who christina and i work with) and her friend marcy. they were fun and we all made fun of one of the booths selling indian food's signs. it said "VAG" instead of "VEG". so funny, i loved it. then we all giggled at the peter pan bus named "the crowing cock" or something like that. apprently, we're 12 again. thats fine.
at least we had fun.
then lauren left and so we walked around more, and blahblahblah this is getting boring. long story short, we left and jay and i went food shopping and then came home to watch a bunch of episodes of sex and the city (oh i love that show, and so does jason. he really really loves it.) and eat amazing kettle corn popcorn.
and now here we are, with me updating my journal and jason looking at - what else? - bikes. oh, sigh.
i'm super tired and i'm excited that i started my new pack of birth control pills. i love the way a new pack of pills looks. as the month goes by, all the little empty squished plastic bubbles look awful and sad. a new pack has intact plastic bubbles filled with cute tiny pink pills, and it's just nice to look at.
its okay, say it: "you're weird"
eh.
